MICHÉALA JOHNSON

Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Michéala’s family owned and operated bars and restaurants and she was immersed in the hospitality industry from an early age.

With a passion for food & beverage, she has spent her entire career in a variety of positions from server and bartender to bar manager and, ultimately, sommelier.

She earned her sommelier certification at the Napa Valley Wine Academy and went on to enroll in the Institute of Culinary Education where she was admitted as a Certified Sommelier to the Court of Master Sommeliers and completed 200 hours of training.

In 2023, Michéala joined the team at Le Jardinier where she oversees the wine program.
